Literally every game I like is underrated
Pit is my first ml game, played it when I was younger and didnt understand the game yet.
So basically one of my childhood games

Same here. I played it the first time when I was like 6 and I didn't know English very well so it was hard for me to understand too. That game is very focused on the plot I guess

When it seems appealing, there is some information that shows this type of game is not very attractive

I'm surprised that NO ONE said Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is underrated.

It's not so much underrated, just considered the "black sheep" of the bunch, as it's so different.

Why did this thread die
I feel Yoshi's Woolly World is pretty underrated. I like a lot the theme, and the soundtrack is awesome. In my opinion it deserved much more attention.

Terranigma. Only released in Japan and Europe, it's an amazing RPG, with good battle mechanics, and an engaging story.

Wanna know a game that I find "Underrated"?
8-bit Hero on the WiiU.

I find that Wario Land Shake It for the Wii is a fairly underrated gem (no pun intended). Its actually developed by good feel, the same group that made Kirby's Epic Yarn and Yoshi's Wooly World. The game looks beautiful with its hand drawn art style, almost giving the game an anime look to it. And the soundtrack, oh what an amazing composition! The levels were really fun, even with some of the motion controls. It seems to me that nobody ever talks about the game, and perhaps, know about its existence.
