SMBX on windows 10.

Is SMBX 2.0 or SMBX 1.4.4 playable on Windows Vista? I need to know cause I am trying to get started on my second main game.

just curious cause normal SMBX (1.3.0.1) on Windows Vista works for me.

Definitely not recommended to use anything earlier than Windows 7 for SMBX (and almost anything else).

Just thw fact alone that you have a PC with Windows Vista means it's time to but a newer PC.
I don't know about SMBX 38A (1.4.4 version, it's completely different from 2.0) but I'm pretty sure SMBX 2.0 uses an old version of OpenGL, which means it could probably work in Vista. This is all just speculation though, and still, I'd recommend getting a new PC.

I have both SMBX 2.0 Beta 3 & 38A on my Windows 10 laptop. So what I'm saying is, both versions works on W10

Clearly you need to use a modern OS like Windows 10 to run SMBX. Why use Windows 7 or the ugly Windows 8 when you can install 10, the latest version? You don't need a monster PC to run Windows 10. If 7 was OK than 10 will be too.

This thread can be helpful for me. I would like someday install SMBX 2.0 with a friend on my PC. The operating system of this PC is Windows 10.
