WIP Graphics Showcase III

Am i safe to post my (unreleased as of yet) SMBX graphics here?



I'm replacing every NPC sprite with Dream Team, Paper Jam, Superstar Saga DX and Bowser's Inside Story DX sprites here. As of now, I'm currently in progress of replacing every Goomba species.

And currently, I'm holding a "milestone" that if my Ludwig sprite reaches 20 downloads, I will release the next 3D Sprite for SMBX. (The Ludwig Sprite is in my signature, feel free to use it)

Sprites are owned by AlphaDream and Nintendo, by the way.

That style looks pretty neat

Credit to ploaj of spriters resource for ripping these sprites off, now to replace every goomba enemy with these

SMB1 Goombas (Brown n Blue) and the first brown Goomba (and with wings) and big goomba of smb3 are replaced already.

SMB3 red goombas will be replaced by beanies; SMW Galoombas will be replaced by grombas and drombas from dream team; The misc goombas by tenderlings from bowsers inside story dx; and the switch goombas with flunderflages from dream team. What do you think of these opinions?

None of them are particularly SMB1 styled and none of them have particularly well-functioning shading... When it comes to NES SMB1, the second column is probably most appropriate of the four.

small - goomba
super - captain goomba
fire - shy guy
raccoon - captain koopa
tanooki - captain boo
hammer - captain shy guy

Did you create that tileset? If so, you shouldn't call yourself lazy. This is a pretty impressive set of tiles!

He is calling himself lazy because he doesn't want to port the tiles to smbx.

I'll be honest, it's not laziness. SMBX just doesn't do it for me, you know? I can't get too detailed with my world maps without going out of my way to do it. That is why I'm trying to port it to SMW instead. Thank you Taycamgame, you made me realize that.

And as a side-note, yes, I did draw all that. A long time ago.
