Just Another Adventure (World 1 Demo)

Heya all! How's it going?

I've got a little something that I've been meaning to show for a while now, it is called...:


World 1 Demo

Basically this is a project I've been slowly working on for a very long time... and I've still got a long way to go. Though at the rate I'm going... I wont be done for like... another 20 years or something (And that's IF I even finish it to begin with lol). So I came up with an idea a little while back. What if I release a world each time it's completed... then at least I could show some of this project as I go... and in a way, each world for my project can be it's own thing... so it works. ^^

Alright. Now then, here's some details for this episode:

STORY:

This is your general princess cliche story. Peach has been kidnapped, and you must save her. Good luck!

GAME STYLE:

The levels here are on the simple and short side. Pretty much my kind of levels. You have one Star Coin to find in each level too. The Yoshi coins also are "M" coins now. Some levels have secret exits (Black & White SMB3 Goals)

MUSIC:

All the Music in this game is produced by yours truly. I figured why not since I can do that sort of thing ^^ (If you want the truly complete experience with it though, be sure to play this on SMBX 2.0)
Also, if you wish to use any of this music in your own projects, you may. Just be sure to credit me for said songs ^^

Here's the link to grab the game. This was optimized to use thr extra features that SMBX2.0 provides, but those who still prefer SMBX 1.3.0.1 should still be able to play it without issue as well

That's interesting, all the other worlds can be like DLCs or more chapters to the game. I like the screenshots and why didn't you use 2.0? This way you can just change sound effects easily without needing to download a modded version of smbx.

For now, I'm just so used to doing it the classic way.

I'm thinking that in the future I probably will go the 2.0 route... but for now... I'll go this route. Not ideal, but a little more compatible I suppose ^^

Heya all! Update!!

I just want to let you all know that I went and did a little polish for the world 1 demo.

Now it's optimized for SMBX 2.0, but you should still be able to play it on 1.3.0.1 as well ^^
Made it so there's no more need to download the whole game. I've also added a custom HUD! (Based on the modern HUD but with a few modifications ^^)
