Also remember that even when you change your username people will probably still remember you by your old one and might easily get confused

I know, I typed "Previously known as Surtur" in my signature because of that. Although if someone that doesn't recognize me views a post of mine, will realize that I'm Surtur (I won't change my avatar for now and I guess my signature is distinguished from others because of having many banners and the little flags).

Maybe you can still add your new username as Smoke, and keep your old username Dex, by turning your username named "Smoke (aka Dex)". That way people will still know your old one and new one at the same time.

But since the last month he doesn't post anything when he visits the forums (his last post was in December 19), while he usually posts very often. Also, we have a PMs conversation about our project and he doesn't reply to my messages. Then I check his profile and I realize that he was online after I sent the message.

This may sound very weird and confusing, but it's like he was banned and his profile has not the ban issue, then he joins to the forums as a guest and the page identifies his IP you can see it's like he is online. That happens to me sometimes when I join as a guest before logging in. Tell me if you understood XD

I didn't know it could track your ip and recognise you as being online even if you weren't logged in, but it is a possibility. It would probably be better to PM a member of staff about that though as it's against the forum rules to mention bans of other users, even if it is just suspicion.
It may be that he has just lost the motivation to post or something, but if he hasn't said anything for a month while still logging in, idk if you should have your hopes up. If you are making a project with him, i suggest continuing on your own for a while, atleast until he comes back.

I suppose since it's already been brought up there's no harm in mentioning that there is a ban placed. The last online thing updates when logging on, or attempting to log on while banned. Also profiles will not be changed to have the banned rank unless the ban is permanent. Hopefully that clears things up.

Well I had a weird dream the other night where I was going to this guys house. First thing I saw is this car dealership that had like weird looking cars in it with rainbow patterns but that's a minor detail. I got at the dude's house and I think we went to sleep or something like that, then in the morning we made croissants with none other than Gordon Ramsay.

Oh and then afterwards all hell broke loose and there were fires everywhere so I had to go to the Bikini Bottom I believe, but I can't remember anything else except that.

Also many times I have dreams where I have the things I want the most in real life (like a Nintendo Switch and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, also I had a lot of dreams with Super Mario Maker before I got it) I wake up very dissapointed
