This is where we'll store the "best" topics that have ever existed on the forums, as well as community events that are no longer relevant. Read at your own risk.
When the website comes back we'll make sure to inform you. We're looking for a solution that hopefully prevents repeats. Repeatedly asking about when we're done fixing it is the equivalent of asking "when are we there?" on car rides.

I know that other people have already said stuff like this but i hope that the dev page is up again soon.
I mean i check it everyday to see the progress for beta 4
i like this.but the editor is confusing i can't change controls (example,z jump,x run, but i want x jump, z run) everything is fast (high FPS?) i think you should fix this
If you're using LunaTester, your controls should adjust to what they should be in the main game. If you want to change the main game controls, get to the main menu (where it has the sunset background) and go to Options. Don't use PGE Tester, that is fundamentally broken at the moment.

where are the settings for the npc for example yoshi wings, flying, or lakitu AI and etc
i found a bug so here's a bug report. i call this bug the "null item" glitch because your character is trying to hold something that doesn't exist. here's the easiest two ways to execute this glitch:
1. play as zelda with an ice flower (or a second player that has an ice flower, but zelda needs to be able to save her location)
2. freeze an enemy and hold it
3. press altrun to save zelda's stats (while zelda is still holding the enemy)
4. despawn the frozen enemy (easiest way is to let go of it and let it hit a wall)
5. hold the run button after the enemy despawns
6. press altrun while still holding the run button to load zelda's stats
or, do this instead:
1. play as zelda with an ice flower (or a second player that has an ice flower, but zelda needs to be able to save her location)
2. freeze an enemy and hold it
3. press altrun to save zelda's stats (while zelda is still holding the enemy)
4. set down the frozen enemy
5. hold the run button and then press altrun
6. if the enemy is in zelda's hands, you did it correctly, now hold up and jump or despawn the enemy without releasing the run button
when you do either of these correctly then you will have a random npc, except it's not random since it's the last npc that spawned. if it can move, it acts as if it is on the ground (despite being in your hand) and when it dies and you haven't let go of the run button then another enemy takes its place. the glitch ends when you release the run button.
edit: also works with other carryables such as vegetables.
edit 2:
I try to use the first method, but I was unlucky and got nothing. You can see that zelda is holding a "null item" after the glitch was completed.
I use the second method, and spawned an npc.
This is funny; it can happen with every other character whenever you hold an item and an event occurs that hides the layer of said item. Does this also happen in 1.3.0.1?
