While i can use the PGE editor, the UI looks more like another program like one of the MS Office programs and it doesnt fit a SMBX editor.
You know you can make it look like SMBX UI right?

This can't even be called a complaint. Why does the look even matter? Only its functionality matters? And its functionality is inarguably lightyears better than the old editor, even if it takes a bit to get used to it. That's a fact, period.

Please think about your words, your previous post came off very rude and ridiculing.

By "doesn't fit a SMBX editor", do you mean that it looks more modern than the early-2000s design from the old editor? That's probably due to the fact that the old editor was written using much older technology. I don't know too much about qt (what PGE uses for its UI), but judging from similar interface libraries it should be possible to style it in some way.
So far there's only custom icon support, though.

Im trying to say that the PGE editor looks more like a Microsoft Office program (PowerPoint, Word ,Excel).
Also, i have seen people not part of dev team use SMBX2 Beta 4 early, how did they get that?

And we're saying "why does that matter"?

The forum dev team group is not up to date. People like Sturg and Waddle are part of the dev team as well. Only team members have access to our working copy.

I have a question about the graphics in this game. In worldmap gfx, after certain original gfx, there are more graphics but unused in some way and they're all the same. Are they the upcoming gfx for later betas? If they are, can they be replaced with custom gfx?

1) Possibly
2) Therefore, you should avoid using it.

Looking at the to do list I see that something that was done on the list before is now changed to WIP again. I don't know why I keep checking in on that project since I know Beta 4 is probably not going to be released until sometime next year since with how progress seems to be going it doesn't look like it's going to be released this year.
I noticed a few of the members have not been on the forums in a long time such as Sambo (March?) and SnoruntPyro (May 3rd). Pyro's last post was just saying "SMBX is dumb" so i'm not sure if she was joking or lost interest. I wonder if they are still working on the project? Anyways the "To do" list still has 26 not started projects but you can see almost every single npc enemy now has a death effect or is waiting on tech so they have made a lot of progress and several npc enemies have been pipe lined. Plus there was a development blog update last month so progress is definantly being made. I was worried that everyone was giving up on Beta4 but it looks like I was wrong. Good job everyone and keep up the hard work.
When you said, "Good job everyone (people of the SMBX2 development group) and keep up the hard work", that was a nice thing you said to people in the development team. I'm glad you said that.

Imagine if Donkey Kong Country 1, 2, 3, and SMW2: Yoshi's Island elements were added in SMBX2 future beta versions (beta 5 or higher).

Imagine if the progress sheet already contained several YI elements for over a year (beta 4).

That's too long over a year.

What're you gonna do about it? It's not like we're trying to pad the release.

We're trying our best to get the update out as quickly as possible and are just running on low manpower for the work still left, so it takes as long as it does. By padding the release I mean the idea of "intentionally delaying it". We don't do that.

I'm glad you're not going to delay the release of SMBX2 beta 4, it's a good thing! So, to everyone that's part of the SMBX2 beta 4 development, you're doing excellent!

We don't yet know exactly why it went down, but most likely it's just a temporarily thing for server maintenance or something. In the meantime, here's an alternate download link for Beta 3:
