The Experimenter and the Pea

There was a man named Chuck who uploads new discoveries on Youtube. He discovered that aliens exist on Mars, that jet fuel melts steel beams and he even found a parallel universe after building up speed for 12 hours! He wanted to see if he can feel a pea under 20 matresses. So he placed a pea down, stacked up 20 matresses and slept. He didn't feel the pea at all the whole night through. He picked up the pea from under the mats and the pea was squished! Chuck decided to replace the pea with a rock and slept. He didn't feel the rock at all! The rock was still intact though. So he tried to look up why and his only results were summaries of The Princess and the Pea. He read the story and found out that only one with really fair skin can feel it. He got plastic surgery to make his skin softer and he still couldn't feel the rock. He even took off his shirt! I guess that's anither mystery solved with a negative result!
