All I can say is... I'm definitely gonna be maining Simon when I get my hands on the game.

Knowing that Simon and (for some reason) Richter are going to be in Smash I think Konami should think about reviving that dead franchise called Castlevania (or make a collection just like Capcom)

I had no idea this direct was happening I just woke up and the prerecord one showed up in the recomended and I looked at the comments and Kng K was ruined for me which is all right because he was requested more than Simon so I expected him. The new menu looks like a well made smash fan game's menu(which is not a compliment) but I'll get over it. If had to main any new character it would be Simon. I have no idea who the anime guy is lol (my guess is Xenoblade).
Very sad that shovel Knight is just not coming I kind of understand though I can't think of much of a move set.

I now believe that Final Smashes will be tournament legal, thanks to the Final Smash Meter. Think about it: Most (if not all) fighting games have meters reserved for special moves. Super Smash Bros. is a party game AT ITS CORE, but Ultimate is taking a more fighting game style approach. More than the previous Smash Bros. combined. And the Final Smash Meter is helping matters.

Ridley, K. Rool and Geno
I think his chances of being in Smash are bigger than ever.

It's apparently been leaked that the blurred-out game mode called "Spirits".

If this is true, I think it's gonna be a new story mode, and might even tie into the Simon reveal trailer (where we see Luigi's spirit) where maybe you have to save the spirits of dead characters and bring them back.

Also,we saw that Luigi turned into a ghost when he was killed in the direct.I think that's basically the same as brawl where they turn into trophies.And because "spirit" is a synonym to "ghost" I think it may be a story mode and these spirits are the topic in the story.

I do hope the Story Mode in Smash Ultimate has Ghost Luigi as a playable character

Don't forget our boy Dedede, who got King Slapped by K. Rool

On the topic of a WarioWare fighter, I'm personally pretty OK with no Ashley. Not really any moveset for her outside of "Food" or "Magic. I do, however, think that a fighter they could add that would make sense is 9-Volt, with 18-Volt being an Echo fighter for him. It'd be pretty cool to see a character using Nintendo gadgets and games for his moveset, and they can add in some moves relating to him being a DJ.
His grab could be the Ultrahand
Smash attack using a Virtual Boy
Cartridges for projectiles
Special looking shield that could be a Record that breaks apart

And with 18-Volt being an echo fighter, all they would have to do is just make a heavier, harder hitting 9-Volt, but change the DJ-related things to Rapping-related things.

I don't care if Waluigi isn't in this Smash, however, why not put him in Smash? I mean.......... DAISY! why put Daisy in Smash?

Yeah! I think Waluigi would work as a representative for the Mario sports games. His main costume could be his tennis outfit and his moveset could be his special moves from sports games.
