I do find it fitting with a good Ice related level imo

LOCALISED ENTIRELY WITHIN YOUR KITCHEN?!

In all seriousness though, this background is really pretty, it'd fit beautifully with like a snowy moutain or an ice canyon level. If you really want to up your game, maybe try adding multiple colors to the sky, to make it more like a real aurora. (I'd recommend some shade of magenta or a more distinct green)
