The problem with websites like this is plain and simple. In fact, it's a cycle of sorts:

Make some cool art.

Invite people.

People completely smash artwork and draw phallic imagery.

People who actually contributed get ultra butthurt.

New server gets opened.

Repeat.

It's a good concept, but there's always going to be that one douchebag who stuffs it up. If there was a password system, that would help private groups of friends, but not if you want a forum based group art board (Due to obvious reasons, such as posting the password online for all to see. That really would make the password obsolete.).
