Older codes seem to show the line breaks though.

Ever since the owner change or whatever recently happened, there are two lines necessary to have an empty line after a quote. Earlier it was the opposite, if you typed one empty line you had two. Just mentioning

Spoilers, code, quotes, and rimg were effected by the board software upgrade. It has to do with the new way bbcodes are parsed which caused older posts to break, and this issue. It's being worked on right now.
