1. People are free to use whatever they want as profile pic's, unless of course it's something bad.. What even is your problem with that?

2. Not the fault of the game, more the fault of it's horrible fanbase. I think you overreact a bit about popular trendy games.

1: I perfectly know that people can use whatever they wants as profile pics, but that's not the point. I guess it's up to everyone to like or dislike, but in my opinion, it's kitch and litterally overused by people on the internet, and kinda goes on my nerves because of how annoying it is for me to see them on the internet.

2: I guess you're right there but honestly, it's hard to appreciate a thing when you see it everywhere and with all the awful stuff the horrible fanbase as how you call it, does. As example, seeing baldi's awful community posts and fan arts are far from making me want to see that actual thing and simply won't attract me, basically because it disgusts/annoy me and gives me a bad image, and even worse when it's first image.

NOTE: this is bias but can you really blame me for being loathed/disgusted from the actual thing by that?

All of these games will die eventually though. If you always see these games on the internet and you are getting annoyed, then you are probably seeing the wrong sites/following the wrong people. If you want to avoid this stuff, then it can be done.

Yeah, I know they will all die one day but sometime it might be long before they does; think about the fact that FNAF, even after all the madness, was still there with all toys and that stupid community. Now I think there's even going to be be a new game I think. Honestly, sorry but I got my ass of five night at freddy. I used to like it (you my not believe it, but I was an actual fanboy!), but after a certain time it was just too much with the games, the (god awful) theories that are uncertain and sometime stands on OTHER theories, the fanbase, the fangames, the fanbase around the fangames and everything.

Also you're right, it's possible to avoid this stuff. On youtube, I escaped most fandoms by clicking ''not interested'' on all the related content, getting far as unsubsribing channels that were getting into this stuff. It was long and fastidious, but I finally did it at a certain point.

I don't mind Baldi's basics, I watched a video and played it myself and it just seems uninteresting imo. Just ignore the game, it's not gonna hurt you just by existing. And popular games always have a reason why they're popular. I used to be sceptic about Fortnite, but then I played it and it was pretty fun, actually. I'd probably play it more if my laptop wouldn't be a piece of poo and give a framerate of three playing it.

PS. Mario, LoZ, Pokémon, Kirby, etc. are extremely popular game franchises as well.

ok everyone can have it opinion. I personally at first found the game funny the first time I saw it for parodying bad/creepy edutainment games from the 90's (I knew sonic schoolhoue for example in a video, one game baldi was strongly inspired by) but after some time, I got tired and pissed of seeing it everywhere.

However, that's on the internet. In real life, it's another story since you can,t really forbid people to talk about these things.

My opinion isn't fact, so just ignore it and I'm fine with it actually, just find it a tiny bit creepy, but there's nothing wrong, if someone finds a anime avatar that they like, if they like it, so be it, and I'm pretty sure, most of the 99.98% of men on the internet, don't have anime avatars, only the half that does, would be angry about that.
