I was just looking through one of my stories and came up with the idea to retexture the pipes in SMBX so that they were clear and flowed with energy. Eventually, this idea branched off and I've made a couple other things clear. Be sure to let me know what you think!
The things in this version are:
- Glass pipes. They have a blue line of energy flowing through, although I wish I could make that move to make it obvious that it's flowing.
- Clear SMW Coins and Dragon Coins
- Clear SMW Flip Blocks, ? Blocks, and Hit Blocks
- Clear Checkpoint Gates

The shadow is perfect on the SMW used blocks. Nice things!

To be honest, I don't actually know. Does anyone have a better hosting site?

I honestly like the transparency, and graphically it's compatible with SMB3, but the lame shading isn't all too impressive; otherwise, congrats on a pretty good creation, and this could also fit in space levels. Sendspace isn't a good download link hosting website, however; files expire thirty days after they've been uploaded. It's your option if you want to change it, but I'd recommend DropBox as it's hands down better than Mediafire, too.

Ok, thank you so much, now works.
However I use DropBox, that is many easy to use.

What did you expect on glass? SM3DW's glass pipes had "lame shading" aswell and nobody complained.
I somehow feel like somebody already made something like this, while the other graphic didn't have the energy flowing through.
You could replace animated BGOs with the flowing energy, for example the SMB3 Seaweed, with 1 graphic for horizontal and 1 for vertical flow.

Pardon me? Last I examined my glass windows and my glass mugs and the glass fish tank in my living room, none of them cast any shadows.

It would be so cool if you could use layers and events to see what's inside the block. Is that possible to do?
Anyway, this is a bunch of really cool looking graphics. A very interesting idea. Good job!

I don't think it's possible; if it is, I've no idea how. Thank you, though!
I don't know why I didn't think of Dropbox. I'll switch to that for sure.
Something I need to fix is the effect for the flip blocks. I forgot to edit that

Hey, could you make other versions of these pipes; for example, like the ones from SMB1, SMB2, and SMB3? Because In my opinion, I don't like SMW Sprites... There are just ugly to me...

I don't have a lot of time until Monday; I may have time tomorrow, so if I can I'll try to get something done for the other pipes.

I swear that I saw a really similar graphic to this in Kazzoo's Star Mountain level. However the pipes were SMW-styled, and this is an SMB3 version. Were you inspired by the glass pipes in Star Mountain?

I haven't been around very long, and I hadn't seen glass pipes done on SMBX before. I probably was at least partially inspired by SM 3D World's pipes, but it wasn't in my mind when I actually made them.
