I am not sure who defines a person as Original in the sense, but I thought bossedit8 and myself count. Some people have been with SMBX since the Dawn and still are. Is not Psuedo-Dino also one of the original people on the forums as well?
Why don't you just call him pseudo?
Pretty much all admins or mods are OGs
Pseudo is a woman, so she's a her not a him. Also some of the mods and admins came later than some other people. There's not really a point in determining who is or isn't more original anyway though.

We all have something we were afraid of as a kid. Whether it was darkness, clowns, that one scary boss from Mario, etc. Some of these fears will even sound quite funny years later.
What were you scared of as a kid?
In Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again, the thwomps make a roar when they wake up and fall down. I had this game as a kid, and I remember playing a level where they appeared the first time (bear in mind, that game was actually my first Mario game ever, so this was my first impression of the series and many of its enemies). When a Mini Mario went under one of them, it grunted its angry grunt and fell down roaring. I, for some reason, thought it was scary. And ever since every time I saw thwomps in that game, it didn't take even a second before the sounds were off. Thank god thwomps are nice and quiet in the main games (even though whomps make sometimes a noise that sounds kind of similar, but I was old enough to handle it when I even got to know what a whomp is).
But I actually conquered my dumb fear last weekend! That's right, I made a level with the editor that contains only one thwomp, nothing else. I turned the volume up and let my Mini Mario walk past it. I thought the roar was rather dumb than scary, but yeah. Hope this story is at least somewhat encouraging
Anyhoo, tell your fears. Kbye

My childhood fears were:
- Imperfect Cell from Dragon Ball Z*
*Some of y'all wouldn't understand why Imperfect Cell was the ultimate fear for me back in my childhood, unless you seen the nightmare fuel scenes in DBZ of Cell killing its victims by absorbing them at a kid age.

i remember having arachnophobia when i was a child, regardless of the size of the spider. every time i'd see one at my home i'd usually ask my mother to remove of them, and every time that happens she'd tell me that it's nothing, especially the small ones. then there was also nyctophobia, also known the fear of the darkness. i also remember being afraid of the squid in minecraft. i don't know why i was afraid of it, but every time i'd see it, i just scream and run away from it. same goes with the wolf in minecraft when it goes hostile. i used to be creeped out of those red eyes.
am i afraid of them now? not really.

I'm still quite afraid of the dark until now but I've gotten more used to it. When I was smaller I couldn't even switch on another room's lights if I was looking directly at darkness so I'd have to look somewhere bright. I miss those days.

If this would happen, i would die. I don't think i would survive to be honest, or i would fall in shock, or i would give up.

I used to be scared of the Castle levels in Super Mario Bros. 3. For some reason the music scared the shit out of me (Im talking the NES version) and plus I was afraid of Lava as well. Not a good combination lol, give a kid who fears lava a dark and musty castle filled with lava and creepy ambient music, and its perfect nightmare fuel
I conquered this fear when I was about 10, and started playing the crap out of Super Mario Bros. 3.
Its been over 10 years since then and my parents still make jokes about it :/
I was also scared of thunderstorms in the middle of the night. For some reason, I loved thunderstorms during the day, Id always sit at the window and watch them, but at night, when I was alone in my bed, or if i woke up to the sound of thunder and flashes of lightning, I would get pretty spooked.
This fear persisted until I was about 16. even when I was around 12 I would wake up my parents whenever a thunderstorm came in the middle of the night... but around age 13-15 I would just go sit in the living room until the storm blew over

When I was little, I used to play Spiderman on the Playstation 2 a lot. A lot of the levels were really fun and challenging, but for years I could never get past the level "Breaking and Entering". Why? Well it's simple. You have to sneak through Ozcorp without alerting any guards. If ANYTHING caught you, it would set off blaring sirens and large robotic super soldiers would hunt you down and kick the life out of you. Not only that, but there was an objective, so you had to go around triggering certain keys on computers without being caught. It was really scary as a kid, especially considering what would happen if you were somehow caught. I did beat it eventually though, with lots of paranoia and shaky hands.

First when I discovered smbx 38A I thought that's the original smbx until 6 months later when I discovered that there was 1.3 and 2.0.
