Level editing tips: You should generally place one type of powerup in a level, unless it's a puzzle where you have to use different powerups for different things, you should generally stick to one powerup for a level. Also, unless you're trying to make this an easy game, 1ups are placed in non-secret areas. It's generally best to have them hiding in more secret areas, sure, you have a few hidden 1ups, but it's not really enough, not to mention in the 4th level, there are a lot of coins at the waterfall, it's just like saying, "have a 1up, but in the form of coins."

I guess I subconsciously made this game to fit my friends' skill levels since they're pretty shit at sidescrolling games with a keyboard.

Since the leaf is replaced with the cape, you might as well give Toad and Toadette capes instead of ears and a tail.
Also, through cheats, I found out that Link's statue form is messed up, the statue still exists, but the shadow is what it's (most likely) intended.

I'm probably gonna make the Cape Feather a Super Leaf again. Some of the graphics for Luigi look weird when flying and Mario's holding and riding graphic look a bit odd too.
I'm also going to completely overhaul Link's spritesheet. Whether that means finding a new one or making a new one, I'm not sure.

A silly thing that I found is with the apples, they can actually be moved around using Toadette's (aka Peach) bombs in the hammer suit.

Okay, first of all the idea is pretty good (cause of the relation between SM Iliad / Odyssey), the logo is nice but maybe a bit low quality, anyways seeing the screens I have to say that the levels look really nice! I'm curious to see where it will go.

There's an inconsistency with Toadette's powerup forms, her ice flower form is not relatable to her fire flower form, I would suggest just using this for her ice flower form:

Fixed it a while ago, it's a leftover remnant from the graphics test. I plan to update the demo with all the bugfixes later this weekend. Stay on the lookout for that!

I've fixed lots of the glitches and issues with the graphics and level design and I think it's time I release a new demo.
The bugfix demo will release with the first two worlds on 6/4/18. Stay tuned!
