Super Mario Bros. Special World 1-1, 16-bit Remake

Postby mobilesuitsonic » Wed May 03, 2017 12:01 am

The project I'm working on is only a few days old, but currently one level is near completion:

OVERWORLD:
http://sta.sh/01i3lnhst0rr

UNDERGROUND:
http://sta.sh/01dmc2tqmfq1

I tried to keep it as close to the original as I could, save for a few graphical tweaks here and there, but the big issue is figuring out how to set up the goal, so the stage can end.

You should also get those levels finished soon, because you also need a download link to them so we can actually play them or this topic will get locked for sure

I'm hoping to finish this stage the day after tomorrow at the latest. I need to do the following:

1. Link the pipes.
2. Add music.
3. Find out how to end the level.

The flagpole is in position, but I need to figure out how to make Mario enter the fort.

Flagpoles don't work in vanilla SMBX. You will need 2.0 and LunaLua. And if you'r level is not finished, don't post it.

Had to change the design of the goal due to problems with the flagpole and fort.

I like how you used a combination of various mario games styles in this. It fits well
