What's the latest SMBX Version?

I'm a little confused. In smbxgame.com the latest version available is 1.3.0.1, but on other websites the latest version is 1.4.4. Is that version offcial? What's going on?

1.4.4 isn't actually the same engine as 1.3. It's a completely different engine named SMBX38A, which looks similar, but is not the same.

SMBX2 (sometimes called SMBX 2.0) IS the same engine, and is the most recent version (though it's made by differennt developers than 1.3, since Redigit abandoned the project).

If you mean main-series, I’d say Galaxy 2 since it made almost no new innovations from Galaxy 1. But if you mean out of the franchise as a whole, without a doubt it would be Hotel Mario for the Phillips CDI.
