I like the new backgrounds but lome are looking...wierd; the smw pipes behind the smw hills are looking huge, but HUGES if you place them in the context! Also the smb1 sky behind the smb3 cave is looking bizarre too, since the two background used for the mix clashes. Whatever, I really like the normal pipe background and the smw cave recolor.

You seems to forget that the background isn't moving at the same speed as the normal tiles, so ingame, I don't think it might cause too much problems, but yeah, maybe a bit more faded to avoid any issues.
