Jokes aside, what episodes are they? Who created them?
EDIT: Thought they were either Valtteri Island or The Great Empire, then i looked at the first post...
So I really cannot guess which episodes they are, or who created them, etc.
Are the new two both from before 2016?
As far as I know, the first episode from the trilogy dates back to a December 2010 release. Second is from 2012. The third one, I'm not even sure. There's still discussions going on but the artwork was completed this morning.

Hmm, very interesting. The only trilogy of episodes i could find with one from 2010 and 2012 are the episodes by GalaxyComet. Is it that one?

i can't find a working link for flower edition, so i came here to ask this because i believe someone still has this episode
i would really thank anyone who can give me a donwload link
I'm not even entirely sure it was ever released, it might have been. I haven't searched for it because it's always been archived.
Mr Boboo wrote:All jokes aside, it's actually quite cool to see how SMBX has evolved over the years, looking at all these oldies but somewhat goodies.
I agree. I get quite nostalgic from the older ones like Pie-Jacker's world, even though they aren't up to date by today's standards, it is still a nice insight into how episodes were made back then.
I am currently trying to obtain two SMBX episodes. One is already on this forum but it doesn't have its own thread, and I know the guys that made it so I could very easily contact them hopefully bringing some new content to that. The other is a very unique one that might not exist as it hasn't been posted since the summer of 2010, but it's very good. That one might be a lot harder to find.
I have been contacting various people since the last four releases, but very few get back to me and when they do, they don't have any episodes. It's frustrating to see the lack of preservation here but the aim of this collection is to provide easy access to some real gems.
here is a link to super mario adventures flower edition topic, but download link does not work

help me finding a download link that works

Small tip for the Apocalypse of Faroze, rename map.wld to world.wld and the worldmap seems to work again.

Instead of sending the individual to the site from where to download, in this case MediaFire site which I consider very dangerous for an average individual due to its re-directs/pop-ups, I'd suggest directly copying the link address (Right-click on Download button -> Copy link address) and linking the images to those copied links. All download done more safely and from the same site.

Why is Mediafire unsafe? Just ignore their ads

There's nothing wrong with downloads being hosted on MediaFire. I personally prefer Dropbox, but as long as you have pop-ups blocked for MediaFire or just know not to click on ads and other junk, you should be just fine when downloading from there

Well, I have a Pop-up blocker (Poper Blocker) and Ad-blocker (ABP) on my browser, Google Chrome.
"There is nothing wrong with downloads hosted on MediaFire." I agree, and it is and would be after my suggestion.
"but as long as you have pop-ups blocked for MediaFire or just know not to click on ads and other junk, you should be just fine when downloading from there" I don't know which and/or and how many extensions and/or third-party applications you use just to prevent what I experienced on that site with a big-green "DOWNLOAD" button on it. It took me more than 40 seconds and three-going-backs to the original start due to when clicking on that big-green "DOWNLOAD" button it would re-direct me to some "You have won an Iphone" site or (sorry for my language) some unsafe trash and from there not download it. Luckily, I know how to prevent re-directing so I can start downloading what I was looking for immediately, and that is what I suggest.
1. Copy the link address of the download button (RMB on the original-download-link and Copy link address on the MediaFire's downloading site.)
2. Link the image to the copied link address (on this forum)
3. Submit the post and try clicking on it (on this forum)
Example on how to download from this site: Click here.
Enjoy.
Cedur wrote:Why is Mediafire unsafe? Just ignore their ads
I do ignore already, by using aforementioned extensions, if you don't mind. The thing is, even with a strong Pop-up blocker which successfully managed to prevent 2 new windows/tabs to open, it managed to re-direct me to some other site three times (blah, blah, just read the quote to PixelPest)...
MediaFire site owners indeedly do offer a nice and free site to place even illegal files for other to download, but it is just like a nest of links and ads which actually make it free and independent of real-world money... I do want to avoid those "junk sites/files/ads" and I do, but I am not sure everyone does and can. Following three-step-task you can climb to a whole new level of a good-atmosphere for us all.
Disclaimer: If you really want to help MediaFire stay free and never shut-down, disable all the Pop-up/Ad blockers, click on as many as possible third-party links and/or do whatever you know more about it, --- but I won't.

Fun fact:
Spiny wrote:1. Copy the link address of the download button (RMB on the original-download-link and Copy link address on the MediaFire's downloading site.)
Right-clicking and selecting "Saved linked content as..." (or the equivalent on other browsers besides Opera) brings up the Save As window to let me download the file directly, but left-clicking it takes me to the regular download page.
Example on how to download from this site: Click here.
I can't right click download with this link, and left clicking just gives me this page:

Which, after a moment, redirects to the regular download page.
So hey, there is a way to set up a guaranteed safe download link for a mediafire file! You just need to take the extra steps to copy the direct download URL and remind people to right click to download or else they can risk getting viruses if they don't have a good popup blocker with every file you put on that site. Not too much of a hassle for one file, but that's gotta add up when you upload a lot.
Alternatively, for the one-time cost of taking a few minutes to set up a free account with a more reputable file hosting service, you could just copy the share link and not worry about any extra steps or risking folks complaining about your usage of mediafire ever again.

Yeah, looks like it only worked for some time, something like 3 hours and then MediaFire reset (changed to new one) the link for the download.
But my solution of having all downloads from the same page on the forum where you found it - which isn't that bad, because you may let those who are downloading a file or two to read more about them, look at the screenshots, etc., just in curiousity while downloading may take from like 10-20 sec to 4-10 mins depending on the internet speed and size of a file - is applicable to other sites, which may never change the download link ideally.
Solution for downloading the file without being re-directed to some other page and for preventing pop-ups would be just RMB (I use this abbreviation for Right-Mouse-Button (click)) on the "DOWNLOAD" button and 'Open link in new tab' option in the taskbar that appeared - this would always work.
But to get back to my idea - it would be really good to have downloads from the same page on the forum where you found the file to download.
Thanks for noting that, I'll never use my solution on MediaFire. Regards.

Thanks for sharing this stuff again. It's too bad Coldwin's House is lost forever. I would have liked to chat with you all on irc again, but it seems you've all moved into a walled garden.

Wow, didn't expect to see you here. Also, you could always join the SMBX Discord if you want to chat.

I decided not to release the trilogy for several reasons, however I was in contact with several developers who worked on a previous SMBX episode. On top of this I have a lot of personal commitments atm so this series might wait a while.
