LMAO that is such a great idea! If you can give each stage it's own backstory, then this episode will be a huge hit!
That stage looks really decent too, it seems to have split paths and will be real fun to explore!

I think giving each stage its own plot could turn this into a disjointed trainwreck tbh

We may never know. But what we do know is that I have totally uncovered this very top secret photo on their desk.
In case you forgot, thats 4-4 Electrical Hazard.
P.S: I'm putting in a complaint to the Shyguy Architecture Company.
Wonder how will the big shy guys in water act.

Well, yes, but what I said was more of a little joke, you know, to keep people entertained. But thanks Taycamgame for appreciating my jokes!

Do that more oftne, it is entertaining!
But you don't need to give massive plots in-game if you don't want to.
Looking forward to more!

Don't worry, if I get this project finished my next will be a heavy plot based one, trust me, I love writing plots and having plots too!

5K posts? Um. I don't know what to say, I've barely finished much levels but people still come to see more. You know, this really lifts my spirits, being a low self esteem guy. So thanks, because every time I reach a milestone or get a nice compliment, I grow a little stronger inside.
So, I'm going to be working on how much time I put into this episode. I need to make more progress, we all know that. So that's what I'll do. I won't rush it, but I'll try to get things done at a better pace.
While we are at it, why not have a screenshot, I suppose.
I won't spoil too much, but I'll shed some info. This level is called 6-A Isolation. "Letter Levels", as I call them, are levels which obviously have a letter instead of a number marking what level they are. These levels are usually story based levels, mini levels if you will. This "Letter Level" is about Mario travelling to the mysterious isolated Elder Subcons, which possess the knowledge of infiltrating Wart's Golden Fortress.
There is a special power-up in this level, but I won't spoil it.

Wow, that's such an impressive screenshot! I don't see how the player will climb that though - is that a propeller block?
Also, congrats on getting to 5K views! This project is getting better by the day.
How close are we to the launch?

you mean the fairy? Apparently fairy sections like this are very slow / tedious and just have an unnecessary risk of failing

Maybe.
Possibly.
Yes.
Anyways how can I effectively use the Fairy (Or in this case, the "Subcon Mushroom"?) Pendant?
I'm also going to need beta testers, with World 1 on the brink of completion.

Ofcourse, i'd love to beta test for you!
Also, about the fairy, i have never made use of it before so i wouldn't know what you could do with it, but do what you do for other gimmicks; introduce in a safe environment, expand, twist, conclude. The starting section of that level looks a little difficult, so perhaps if there were less spikes / munchers in that part?
It also seems there isn't much space the player can move around in, which means the player may get hit a lot.
Anyway looking forward to more!

Alright, I'll be sure to add you to the list once I have enough people. I'm looking for around 5 people to ensure good testing. I also might need 3 types of people to beta test:
• The Rusher: Rushes through levels, ignores secrets.
• The Norm: Takes their time, often takes out most enemies they come across, but does not go out of their way to collect "A Coins" (Reskined Dragon Coins) or other secrets.
•The Completionist (Basically me.): Exactly what it sounds like, they go out of their way to discover literally everything.
This ensures everything is ok throughout all playstyles.

I tend to do in-depth reviews, so i could be The Completionist; What i usually do is look for secrets but also look out for possible bugs, problems or things i like about a level.
When do you suppose beta testing will begin? (how much of world 1 do you still need to finish)

Hey, I'd love to be a beta tester for you! I do want to try helping others with projects, because although I have a project of my own I'm kind of making (Well, I've lost all the data for it twice so I'm kind of restarting the whole thing), It really needs a few things from beta 4, a whole set of playable character sprites (Actually more than normal since it would replace Uncle Broadsword, and his sprite sheets are practically full), and a hefty amount of lua, which I don't really know much about. So, I guess I've got time to help everyone else with their projects. I'd say I can be a completionist at some times and the norm at others, so I could probably test both strategies. I'm not really the rusher type.

So, we've got 3 beta testers so far which is great. Thanks guys!
