Whoops, looks like the security certificate just expired.

It has been fixed quickly. However, when I load the board index, I see a green "is safe" in the adress bar but it vanishes in a second, while before it used to say. It also says something like "valid certificate, but the site is not secure, attackers could view the images you view on the site and could try to deceive you by altering the images". This also didn't appear before.

As far as I know, that warning sign is caused by images/files that aren't embedded using HTTPS. If you got it on the homepage that means I probably still am linking to stuff without using HTTPS, but it will definitely appear in topics because people have embedded images using just HTTP in signatures/for screenshots/etc.

Sorry what is affected by this security problem? If it's something you get when logging in then I wouldn't notice (I set my profile to be always logged in)

Why do levels, episodes, and project demos without showing screenshots, videos, or any evidences that shows their progress had their threads locked instead of just redacting the download link?

Usually they're actually deleted if they don't meet the requirements of the rules unless they've accumulated a significant amount of useful discussion, in which case they're locked

When browsing topics, I always had a yellow exclamation sign saying "Parts of this site are not safe, these could be graphics". That is also gone now.
(Not that it's an issue, just saying what's the case with me)

There's something strange I have noticed about the reply interface:
This is the only one that is off. What's with that, and what is it used for?

I think it's disabled on the forums all together so even if you enable flash animation viewing in the UCP, flash animations won't display.

Why though? I don't see why it needs to be disabled.

People have used it for stupid stuff like rickrolling people with invisible flash objects in their sigs and the like (sometimes more malicious) on other forums, trust me it's a lot better off being disabled.

I would suggest stacking npcs and more powerups, like the penguin suit and the blue shell.

Hey Yang, welcome to the forums! This thread is for discussion relating directly to the site, not the game itself. The developers of 2.0 aren't currently taking suggestions for new content, but more NPC options and powerups are planned for the future.

Could we please get a rule that states you must specify what SMBX version your level/episode is using?
Also, how about monthly events like what SMWC and MFGG have?

Seconded.

What kind of events are you referring to? If you mean contests then I'm afraid we can't live up to such a tight rhythm. If you mean events in general, we're already having a Pokemon tournament and there's also surely more ideas for things ...

I'm talking about the latter.

Good guess, but perhaps events just wouldn't make sense around here?
