(SMBX2.0) .spc music isn't playing on world map...

So I have music from Yoshi's Island in .spc format in my folder.
I put it into my world map, I test it and this happens!!!
(I'm using the pge engine here, but rest assured that it also happens on normal smbx 2.0, except without errors)

Is some shit your music file?
And what do you mean by it will do the same thing in smbx2 without an error? Do you mean the error message?

Yes, i mean the error message. "Some shit" is the temporary name for my project and is the name of the episode folder.

What format is the music in? Smbx won't run a few types

It's a .spc file, supported by SMBX2.0.

try .wav or .mp3 and maybe .ogg

The PGE alpha tester isn't yet in a good place for testing anything but the engine itself, and custom world map music isn't just a matter of selecting it in the editor like it is for levels. Have you tried messing with music.ini?
