EDIT : Lol, i forget to check the year so i think i bumped. But, i'm not.

I can't remember what age - around 6 to 9 years old - I had this common cold. However, it turned out I was allergic to this one strain I caught, and for about a month afterwards, I had a severe rash / skin peeling off all over my body. I ended up going hospital because of it. Never got it again.

To actually qualify, I'm sure my childhood would have went a lot better if I didn't happen to jump two classes and be two or three years younger than all my classmates. I sort of wished I had been more normal.
(oh and I had chickenpox at the age of four, but nothing more severe)

don't forget the bullying by your peers or the pressure from your parents to live up to their expectations, that, if you dont fulfill them, leads to anxiety and severe depression and feelings of guilt and worthlessness.
not that i would know what thats like.

Wait, I am not the only one that jumped two classes? Also I can understand what you feel. My school life in the past kind of sucked, and it probably would have been better if I wasn't younger than everyone else. Despite that, my school life nowadays is way better and I no longer go through the problems i faced in the past.

Wait, in America they allow you to skip whole years?!??!?
Darn, I've always been getting >90% in my maths tests, and would have started doing A level maths much earlier if it worked like that in the UK. Oh well, guess I have to go the long way round...

When I was a very young child, like 3 or 4, I had strep throat. Not really a disease, but coughing felt like razor blades in your throat. Good times!

In Germany and Brazil appearantly you can do that. I have not seen an American say that they have skipped classes.

Bumpty Bump
This I just got but I picked up a fungi infection while at my provincial winter games and it spread to my neck, forehead, and ear. I'm currently taking 8 pills a day and skipping basically every class. :c
