SMB3 Reshaded SMW Luigi!

Hey there everyone, I decided to make these sprites for my project (The Return of the Shogun), but decided to release the ones that are done so far.

I added a few more things that the SMB3 sprites didn't have, such as the blue eyes and the shaded gloves. Hope you guys like them! By the way, if anyone would like to help me complete the Small, Racoon, Tanookie, and Hammer sprites, I would be more than happy to work with you!

This looks absolutely amazing! It would be awesome if you could do even the Mario version of it and with all the forms.

These player sprites are highkey the best I've seen! You have potential to be a great gfx designer in the forums

Heh, thanks man! I have been thinking of doing Mario eventually, but, I may start working on him starting next month, since for now I wanna focus on finishing an idea list for all the levels for my episode, get the neccesary custom graphics that I'll need, and finish Luigi's sprites as well. But yeah, don't be surprised to see Mario sometime in the near future!

Haha, yeah. SMW fit SMB3's style quite well once the sprites are reshaded/recolored to be honest, plus, SMW has the advantage that the sprites for Mario and Luigi are much more lively. And, I would be delighted to have some help for the graphics! Be sure to send me a PM anytime you're free so I can send you the rest of the graphics and what to base them upon, thanks a lot for the help!

Thanks a ton for saying that man, really means a lot!

While I suck at making graphics (and levels) from scratch, I don't have any problems with making reshades or editing certain graphics (like editing those cannons from SMB2 into an enemy which will be seen in my episode). But thanks a lot once again man, enjoy the sprites!

Staying on topic with some More Constructive feedback:

I do find it interesting that you recolor the Super Mario World (All-Stars Version) in 16-bit Mario 3 style imo. But, since it's a recolor, I might have to takes points off. Also I'm expecting something original with Hammer Bros. Form, & Tanooki Form sometime in the future. So keep it up!

Heh, thank you! I decided to recolor the All-Stars version because I just love the animation the sprites have, and since my episode is themed around SMB3-style graphics (and personally speaking, SMB3 are my favourite sprites to work with), I decided to reshade it. Also, just wanted to ask, would this be considered a reshade or a recolor? Because a recolor would simply be adding the SMB3 palettes into the graphics without changing much, while here I did tried to make it as close to SMB3 as possible without changing much of the sprite itself, so, just wanted to know. But, thank you anyways, 7 feels deserved, and since it's my lucky number, no complains.

It looks more like a reshade than a recolor, hence the eyes and buttons, but it's a recolor, nevertheless.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to say that a new version is out, with a new palette for Luigi's overalls and a fix with a shading issue the ice form had. And no, unfortunately the rest of the forms haven't been finished yet, as I've been really busy with stuff from my personal life, and with my episode itself as well. But, nonetheless, they are going to come yes or yes, so, stay tuned!

Heh, thanks for keeping it chill with the smilies x) And thank you! I'm likely going to finish the Racoon form tomorrow, so, expect an update soon.

And yeah, it has been fun to do thus far, it definitely is something new for me in that sense, but, I am very happy with the results.
