Welp, Might as well post this here before the new year ball drops...
This appropriately titled GFX Pack contains some graphics I had created throughout the months, some of which I started working on either earlier in this year, or in late 2014. (Yeah, I know.) Now to be honest, I have wanted to join these forums for a very long time, but I hadn't really found the courage or motivation to do so. Nevertheless, I kept on creating various tilesets, BGOS, and other minor stuff. Now that I've finally entered this community, I am finally ready to show off my previously unseen creations.
This pack contains:
* SMW Style Block Sizeables
*SMW Cave (Light tan recolor)
*SMB3 style SMB2 Underground
*SMB2 style Grassland With BGOS
*SMW Cherry Plains tileset with Cherry tree and Bamboo BGOS
*SMW Minty Plains Tileset with Daisy BGO
*SMW Construction Girders Tileset with BGOS
*SMW Style SMB3 Hills(BGOS)
*SMW Build-a-Tree(BGOS)
Not Pictured:
*SMW Invisible Block BGO
*SMW Edited Savanna BG
*SMB3 Cave (Grey recolor)
Shots From The Screen:
I actually have a lot more graphics made that I intended to shove into this crappy win-rar while there was still time, but due to some heavy procrastination and such I have to leave it as is and post this at the last minute before these babies become two or three years old. I'll probably update this some other time next year with the rest of them.
Load em' Down:
Merry Twenty-Sixthteenthmas! -DarwintheNameless
I'm Pretty sure It'll already be 2016 by the time anyone sees this... *sigh*

Nope, grabbin' these at 11:40 P.M. on the 31st. I'M NOT TOO LATE YAY :D
And they actually look pretty cool, from the screens, too. :o Nice!
I'm liking the tilesets and sizables you've got here. Cherry Plains, Minty Meadows, the SMB2 grassland, the SMB3-style SMB2 underground, and the SMW sizables all look pretty good, and the build-a-tree tileset is a useful little toolkit.
I wouldn't worry about "courage", at the very least; it's apparent from this little pack alone that you're capable of doing stuff that's more than just "Half-baked". :p

Thanks! glad you like them!
And to be clear, I don't really see my own graphics as "half-baked', as I am actually proud of them myself and I also see them being quite useful. I only gave this pack the name because I kinda procrastinated a little when it came to porting these tiles over into SMBX. The things winter break does to ya

I like this so far. It's nice to see more SMW content. I do find that the red fence in the 5th and 6th screens lacks shading, so it would help if you did that. Aside from that. this is a pretty interesting pack.

If I see the 7th screenshot, I think a little bit of a 16-bit version of the tileset from Newer Super Mario bros Wii world 4.
And the tiles from the 1st screenshot are perfect for a relax gras level.

Coincidentally, I wasn't actually thinking about Newer when I started on those tiles, especially since Cherry Plains is more China inspired whereas Sakura Village is Japanese themed.
And I agree you with you about the Minty Meadows tileset, I can easily see them as a perfect fit for a 1-1 level: Not too dangerous, pleasant atmosphere, almost peaceful.
Appreciate your comments!

When you say maps, do you mean like 2D HUB world maps, or SMB3-type overworld maps?

Thanks PROX! I figured SMBX needs a lot more custom SMW stuff around here than SMB3 stuff.
And about the fence, I didn't give it any shading since most background objects in SMW don't have too much detail and I didn't want it to pop out too much, but i can see what you mean with the lack of shading. I'll probably fix that in the next update.

No, when i say "map", i think "stage". Don't ask why, my brain is strange.

Okay, real talk though, It's nice to see someone finding my old stuff here and know that they'll use it for something. Only reason I'm not online anymore is because I pretty much lost interest in doing anything with SMBX (The game, not the community surrounding it) long ago; but I do still come here from time to time to see what the community's doing. I just don't really post anything anymore, is all. In fact, I think this is the first post I've made in Twelve months!
Maybe if something in my mind entices me to become more active again then I might do just that, but I'm not making any promises here.
Still, thank you (and Ivan as well) for finding this, I hope you make good use of it!

That's the magic of looking for specific stuff on the keyword search.

Your CGFX has been used in Zephyr's episode Mario Classic (the girders in one level were your creation)

Hey, chill out. I have joined this forum today myself and I find the community here really nice; Besides, your graphics are really good. The sizables from the 8th screenshot add really nice details to the level as a whole, as well as the BGOs.
These are pretty great! Keep up the good work.
