What does the owl mean by saying "you are keeping some enemies closer than you think"? Is bombette the real enemy?

edit: I found a small bug, in ferocious fleet 2.0 after dying after passing the checkpoint you get the message from the general like in the begnining of the level

As Cedur explains, you need to play the game's last level to find out :roll: Thanks for pointing out the bug, I'm not 100% sure how to fix it because the message is triggered as soon as the level starts...

Another issue i found:
The world 3 level (don't know the name) with the flying beatles, when standing on general goomba's ship sometimes the beatles fall out of the airship(they clip through the walls). Also, when moving left and right in that section the fog stops moving for some reason...

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I can't do much about that bug with the Para-Beetles. I've tried several different options but this appeared to be the one where they stayed inside the "cage" in most cases. At least they don't clip through the walls every single time...

Oh, the fog doesn't stop moving. It's just that you're travelling at the same speed when going right, which creates this illusion ;)

Thanks, some of the questions from that long staircase are actually a reference to the game Majora's Mask :) There are actually lots of other nods and references to games spread throughout my episode...

I think i know how to fix the para-beatles bug. Make a different sprite of the para-beatles but make it a block with animation instead of an NPC. Then attach these blocks to the moving layer so it can move with the ship. :) Also, I think the second gatekeeper's "fireballs" move waay faster than bowser's. Maybe because it uses a bigger texture??

I found the graphic style sensational. I simply love SMW 1 and SMW 2, and your episode blends the two. I just loved it.

I'd love to try your solution out but I'm too lazy at the moment :lol: And yes, those projectiles from the second Gatekeeper are meant to be fast to provide more of a challenge for players.

To fix the bug in ferocious fleet 2.0, put a coin at the start of the level so the player picks it up right when the level starts. also make the coin trigger the event and you are done. you could also get rid of its graphics and sound so it looks hidden. Or you can use lunalua... Just take all the time you need :)

Another bug i forgot to mention... When defeating the second gatekeeper,the cannon is supposed to dissapear,but it's still there,just invisible. Mario still has the holding animation and you can still throw it. But it dissapears after throwing it. Nice episode,I'm on world 4 now.Wish me luck!

Haha, I found that out a long time ago but the animation of Mario/Luigi holding an invisible cannon was so funny that I decided to keep it in just for a laugh :lol:

Great! Enjoying it more than world 3 because I'm not a fan of sky worlds. :) So far this is one of the best episodes I've ever played. :D

OK, I got 2 issues with sandship shenanigans.
The spark enemies are broken. Instead of going on the boxes they just go up and down and then they stop moving. Sometimes the mushroom blocks in section 1 spawn on the same tile but sometimes they spawn next to each other. A whale of a time was a clever level name :) I liked the whale ride part.

Oh, those Spark enemies are supposed to do that actually as I didn't want them to move around. As for the mushrooms, it's not a big issue really... Haha, it fits in so well :D

Right now, I am at world 5. In the Grooda level, when getting away from the bully carrying a spike the spike spawns but not the bully. Can you make the fight easier by making us see the vegetables? I never did complete it until the Grooda pushed me through the gate towards the star :lol:
Edit: Holy hell that level is soooooooo creative! (frosty flames) :)

Hmm, haven't seen that bug with the bully and the spike. I'll look into it. As for Grooda, I've tried fixing it recently, didn't know it was still an issue about him pushing the player through the wall... And nope, you're not supposed to see the vegetables in the second part of the boss fight. Happy that you like the Frosty Flames level!

Hmm, haven't seen that bug with the bully and the spike. I'll look into it. Grooda's second form pushed me through the wall. I was soo frustrated when i died right before the keyhole in Lost lava lands.
