These look great,like for a ''modern'' episode,where Mario loses his cap when small.
You could do a same one for Luigi,i love these!

it's just a glitch on the screenshot
in game sprite do not have that glitch

It's pretty much the exact same, just with new details because of the new hardware.
As for the actual sprite, this is really as good as we can get with limited pixel space.
