Those types of servers exist? What exactly do they try to acheive, because I doubt it could be used to get yourself unbanned from SMBX or Codehaus or another site.

It wasn't a SMBX related server. A server owner made a ban appeal server on discord.

Not at all, one of the staff members of the real server left an invite to the server in a channel called #ban_appeal_server. The ban appeal server is also owned by the staff of the other server
