Hello, and welcome to my project called :

SUPER MARIO GENERATIONS X

This episode takes the concept of Sonic Generations with a bit of inspiration from Mania and Mario games.
So it's just a Sonic Generations Mario version.

What will be in the full version :

Super Mario Bros 1
The Lost Levels
SubCon (SMB2)
Super Mario Bros 3
Dinosaur Island (SMW)
Cool Cool Mountain (SM64)
World 8 (NSMBDS)
There will probably be more levels.

Mario, Luigi and Toad playables

3 or 4 Extra Levels (SMB Special, NSMBU, Yoshi's Story and some other game)

It's not a 1-1 remake, it has parts from 1-1, 2-1 and other overworld/snow levels from SMB1 with minor edits.

Based on the few screenshots here, this looks pretty good. I hope more screenshots are uploaded in the future though. I especially like the tileset seen in first level screenshot.

Little update on Super Mario Generations :

I think after I finish this episode I will make a version for 2.0, there weren't many updates to this project because of school.

I'm trying to improve on level 1 and 2, like making the animation more fluid like this SMB1 coin and power-ups (I edited Sednaiur SMB1 coin) :

Of course it's still W.I.P, by the time you're reading this I probabably corrected errors on the coin sprite

I actually fixed the coin 3min after I made this post so here it is : It's me, the IMG

I also added some grass on the fill tiles (SMB1 level 2) :

Super Mario Generations update 2

So I've improved MORE on the first level

Yeah, new background.

I also made a background for when you're on the cavern part of the first level!

Can you change the graphics on certain characters and then make them unlockable? Maybe there could be an unlockables area or something.

Unlockable areas are planned, but I don't know how to make characters unlockable

Disable the unlockable characters and put their character blocks in locked areas.
