Well, we all know what has gone on in the world the past few weeks, hurricane on top of hurricane, terrorist attacks, disgusting things like that. Well, I am making this topic so we could discuss about all of this stuff in general and your opinions on the hurricane season so far and the mass amount of attacks.
My opinion on this subject is that it is getting way out of control, especially the most recent event in Las Vegas, America has quite good gun laws, but they seem to not be good enough, they need to be improved, plus the fact that Trump revoked the subject and said that it wasn't a topic that needed to be discussed even though it was is quite absurd, he could have just said that right now there are bigger concerns, but we will try our best to discuss this topic at a later date when this has all settled down instead of just saying that it is not to be discussed at this time.

Honestly, as you said, it is REALLY getting out of control with fucking ISIS and other bullshit terrorist group things.

Pretty much. Terrorists are getting out of control, and I wouldn't be surprised if the countries that fight ISIS went for extreme attitudes.

Recently, my mom told me to order a Link cosplay (From Breath of the Wild) now before they're sold out. I went to my local Walgreens to order a Amazon gift card.
But, when i got home and add $53 to my balance, I couldn't afford it!

The world is definitely strange today, yet we must press on. Hopefully, everyone affected by those tragedies, dead or alive, can soon rest easy.

Things like the Twin towers Bombing (Not 9/11),The Oklahoma City Bombing show signs of a new era of terrorism.

There's a difference between your problems about a gift card issue on amazon, and someone losing their home to a hurricane or someone they loved in a mass shooting.

I think he simply misunderstanded the point of the thread.

Clearly the only thing he did was read the topic title and made a post regarding his own personal inconvenience. Easily avoidable mistake that makes him look incredibly self-centered and insensitive, and oblivious. There is no reason for him to misunderstand if he actually read what the topic is about.

One other thing I have seen as well is that with every single act of violence that makes big news, ISIS claims it was them even though in my opinion, I don't think some of them are. For example, apparently they claimed that the Las Vegas shooting was their doing even though it was very clear that it was not.

ISIS claim to do these things because they know it will scare people.

Yeah there's no actual evidence for the Las Vegas shooting being connected to ISIS as far as I'm aware. Taking credit for it helps them make people fear them though, which is their whole goal.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that ISIS isn't responsible for all attacks they claim to cause

I'm still waiting for volcanoes to suddenly sprout in the Midwestern United States and South Africa.
