raocow seems to be the biggest youtuber who plays smbx so far, though he's not your typical youtuber and he seems to be happy with where his fanbase has stabilized at. Bossedit8, on the other hand, appeals a bit more to the general youtube audience, and his fanbase has been growing at a much steeper rate. Take a look at these statistics.
Bossedit8 may not have even half the subscriber count yet but look at his growth. He's significantly steeper than raocow. As well as that, his most viewed video has twice as many views as raocow's most viewed video.
MrDragonboy96 is a similar story to Bossedit in these areas. However, if you look at the subscriber rate, projected over time:
I'm not really sure, but that drop also occurred for bossedit8 and Mrdragonboy96. I'm guessing it was either a popularity bubble from the release of an SMBX2 beta, or it was a technical glitch from the database or analytic service's end.
To be completly honest about Dragonboy, he really got most of his subs because he did this Smbx Sonic Exe Crap. You know the creepypasta everyone loves bc it's so spooky?
I doubt he would have the same amount without it.. also his levels aren't that great as well.
So i rather think the tie is between boss and rao.
Between Raocow and Bossedit, people caught onto raocow earlier, but Bossedit is much more notable for SMBX. Bossedit was also the first of both to reach 500,000 views on a single video, and is coming close to 1,000,000 views on two videos, the first for any SMBX uploader.
