In my opinion, I think we finally found the reboot that breaks bad reboot cycles. First off, I LOVE the new Webby. She kinda reminds me of Mabel, but at the same time, it looks like she can hold her own characteristics. I also think that differentiating the triplets to have different styles and personalities was a great move on the dev team. I got used to the voices easily, so no problem there. (And even though nothing can top Alan Young, (RIP) I think David Tennant is fully capable of being the next Scrooge) Despite what other people think, I think the artstyle is gorgeous, with the fluidness being top-notch. The writing is pretty clever as well (with a surprise at the end of the second episode). The characters have some actual character and has their own little charm. And most of all, the amount of references and fanservice while maintaining all of this is just incredible. That's not to say it doesn't have flaws. There are a couple of jokes that are hit-or-miss, or a plot point or two that had a missed opportunity.(Won't get into that because of spoilers) but those are few and far between. All in all, this a great start to a reboot just oozing with potential. I give it a 9/10.
Now I want to hear from you guys. Do you think that this reboot is gonna be great? Please share your opinions.
