i tried but i'm bad at custom graphics
I did have to recolour an entire tileset myself (That took two f*cking hours btw I'm not exactly good at Paint.net), but it's really just a matter of picking a theme and choosing custom graphics and music accordingly. Keeping it consistent is a test in self-limitation and creativity.

Have you tried using global painting and/or the tileset compiler? it would only take 10 minutes if even that in that case

Well, here's how I did it: I loaded the tileset's individual pieces into Paint.net and started using the brush tool to slowly paint over the bits that needed to be recoloured. Then after about 10 blocks and 10 BGOs I learned I could actually get the fill tool to work as I wanted it to by disabling anti-aliasing. From there I just used to fill tool on each individual bit of the tileset until I was done. What matters is that it's done now.

3 Days left, good luck
And I probably won't be able to get my level in time. Guess we will have to wait next contest.

Very far off. And it appears that Jupi has not even started his level.

I started my level 2 weeks ago, then hit a roadblock when my graphics got f*cked up, but I was able to get them fixed yesterday and I've spent nearly 7 hours in PGE finishing my level. As that would suggest, my level is now finished. But before I submit it I'll be spending some time testing it tomorrow.

My level can be played in 2 minutes so I'll add some switch blocks.

Be careful with switch blocks lad. There's a difference between fun level gimmick and padding out a level's length.

I just have to say, this is so fricking exciting. Is this what it feels like to be an active member of a community?
It will be the perfect moment to get feedback on my level dessign kills ©. If I reach to tier 3 or 2 (10th to 20th place) on the contest I will be so joyful for the rest of the year.
If I get Last tier I will reconsider my life choices and grow a beard.

I think this is what you call "artificial lengthening"
