You should put the episode file in your worlds folder. Also, what version are you using?

Obviously 1.3.0.1, or else he wouldn't have posted here.

It depends if SMB3 Remastered works for 1.3, try playing it first

You don't need to, but it's the recommended version since it contains a lot of new features.

If you're asking if 1.4 is better than this, it kinda is, but I personally recommend the 2.0 open beta.

There are other two versions that you can get: 1.4.4 and 2.0. You should get both and try both, then go for which you prefer

Please note that we are not capable of adding substantial new features (powerups/custom buttons/etc.) to the level editor. Also note that there are no viruses/malware/adware in any of these download links; just be sure you're not mistakenly clicking on ads.

I found an issue where when you launch smbx.exe, it crashes and deletes itself
Alternate issue: crash with an error message showing that smbx.exe was not found and delete itself

Do you happen to have antivirus on your PC? If yes that's probably what deletes smbx since antivirus programs tend to immediatly deleted exe files.

Are you sure you uninstalled SMBX, disabled your antivirus, and then downloaded SMBX again?
