Remember how we literally had to switch to Discord in order to regain chat activity because the IRC was already long dead before that. So yeah, it makes sense to dissolve it completely.

It wasn't only bc of activity, Discord fixes a lot of mistakes irc has.

I guess you could say some people don't want to switch to better things and use the irc.

Well they won't see me there. I left completely once I joined Discord.

Welp, RIP Mafia I guess.

I think it would be wise to put the Mafia forum in the archives now, since it's locked.

But then they would archive a bad game with it. I think it should be hidden from us and then reintroduced (but it should be at least several months before that happens) and reset from M1 again with rules more stricty enforced and with new ones introduced (like keeping civil and playing fairly) and violations should bring about punishments that also affect you outside the Mafia forum. Maybe they could have like just banned those reposible rather than punishing the community by depriving us of the opportunity to continue to play but then I don't know how bad it would be cutting the ammount of the Mafia playerbase this would lead to.

Maybe just delete M41 and keep the others?

I also believe that archiving it would mean that it is definitely a pernament end to Mafia and that it will never happen again which does not seem like te full intention. It might happen again only if people know how to not be twats, sonce that is what describes most M41 players.

They will bring it up from where it left off. Nothing special will happen. If you need to play mafia still, go do it at talkhaus.

Can you stop putting everyone into one can? From what i read it was only some people and not everyone was being a complete idiot and salty.

The Mafia forums will just be put on a hiatus until this calms down and the community is ready to not be assheads. In other words it is gone forever
Also if the reps come back right now the chances that we have a new SMBXxer case with either Danny or Cedur are around 95%

I mostly remember that someone called me bitch or hoe and got downrepped a lot by others.
Some people couldn't also handle the downreps and make threads about it or kept complaining how "unfair" it was. It was then removed bc Joey decided that the current form of the members isn't ready.

And i seriously doubt it will ever be ready.
