I've already stated my reasoning for why I changed my direction in what I thought of the alliance (I didn't think it was set up well as I couldn't see a method of Cedur confirming his status as Guardian without the Sheriff outing himself, but then when Shroom started getting claims I figured if everyone else has faith it'll work then I should too) but not a single person has got back to me on if that's somehow not a good enough reason.

To the second point, how the fuck am I supposed to defend myself from 'vibes'?

I already told you on discord that the lead on you was weak as fuck and only good enough if nothing else came on due to forced lynching.
That aside, there is no reason to defend yourself anymore since you aren't the lynch victim anymore. Both Cedur's vote and mine were changed to Waddle Derp and two additional votes were also cast on him. You are in the clear.

So most of the town seems to agree the lead on Megar was absolutely awful so how come I'm suspicious when all I've done is comment on the lead?

so to let the remaining players get more info I'll just try to make a tl;dr of the current strategizing

we don't have great leads, I mean, you can't expect us to have some on Day 2 apart from red cop reports, which we have none, that's how it has been in nearly every game. That's why you interrogate, that's why you pressure people, even if it is basically random at the start, and you see how they react, and how scummy it looks. You also make votes and see who of the non-confirmed players jump on bandwagons. You also see who is abstaining from votes and who stays out of the turmoil, and who is defending each other and working with each other. If you're a confirmed innocent, you have to build theories based upon all of this. So far, my theory is that Mega and Waddle are maf together, or at least one of them has to be scum.

PixelPest said "yo, go with it" when I made him an in fact completely random lynch victim on day 1, and mega also kinda pushed me into voting a "not-so-active but known player", but when I suggested RNG and it landed on Waddle Derp, Mega talked me out of it. Now they both demand a good explanation on why they're suspicious, while they should know that it's not very easy to explain aside from vibes. And these slight, instinctive vibes, based on an educated guess, just get stronger based on their a-posteriori-reactions. PixelPest could be still scum, I know. If he is, he's made a good effort to deflect dirt from him, but I can also assume that he's not, in which case this would be a good non-panicky reaction.

Also, the reason why a lot of discussion and strategizing took place behind the scenes is that if some unconfirmed townsperson wants to accuse someone who is in fact blue, I would have to do everything to sway the votes then and just the slightest bit of "desparation" would make the blue's identity obvious. This doesn't mean that the unconfirmed and non-accused townsperson(s) should completely abstain from strategy, they should still keep thinking themselves about who they find suspicious and why. And this is also why I have to focus on a few targets and can't accuse everyone who's not in the alliance.

I've spoken to a couple of members of the alliance and neither of them could provide me with anything close to a valid reason to lynch me instead of Megar, and I would like you all to take a step back and reconsider your vote without looking at what others voted.
