While the others were sleeping, Anakh was wide awake. Not just for the sake of taking the watch but also because he simply never slept. If someone were to be awake they would find Anakh alternating between staring mindlessly into the distance and reading a mysterious small book throughout most of the night. Every once in a while he would check if everyone was still asleep before going back to staring and reading. Anakh never noticed that Willfire wasn't asleep at all.

The night progresses rather uneventfully, which is oddly peaceful after the shipwreck. Dawn arrives quickly, inviting a rather dense fog overlaying the land below the hills, blanketing the forest and making the town near-invisible.

The first one that was actually asleep that wakes happens to be Vilzriquathtor.

(OoC: do I need to use her racial ability after every rest, or does she stay with her preferred appearance?)

Wilfire, despite the fact that he didn't sleep, wasn't tired at all. He usually skipped sleeping unless he was in a town or any place where he could sleep well. "We better get​ going. We should be close to the town now." Said Wilfire, while looking at the fog down the hills, looking for the town.(Perception check?)

Regardless of how well you look into the fog, you can't see the town from here, but you can just barely see the treetops of the forest.

"Hey, Willfire, Didn't you have a map of this place? We just passed Castle Highmar and the placement of that forest might give us some direction" Anakh said in a slightly sarcastic voice.

"Hahaha​, I like this way of acting." Wilfire said laughing, wondering if Anakh would think it was sarcasm or not. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't. Wilfire couldn't care less about good manners and education, and he sometimes liked to see people acting like Anakh did. "Well, I would say we shouldn't go to the forest, there isn't really anything there. This is the path we should follow." Wilfire said, while showing the map and making an imaginary line with his finger, straight towards Valmar

Without being able to see the castle in the distance, however, you are completely clueless as to which direction to head in.

"Wait, where is the castle?" Wilfire doesn't seem to find the castle anywhere in the fog, and starts wondering if he should wait for that fog to disappear or go on and hope to go through the right path. Well, he has knowledge of the terrain, but there is still a risk of going in the wrong direction.

Sarvin slowly gets up. Half awake and vaguely aware of what the rest were talking about. "Alright guys cool it. Any moment now we should get a half decent answer..." After a few minutes later, a cat emerges from the fog, looking well fed and very tired. "I vote we go in that direction then." he says pointing slightly left to where the cat emerged from. "He always returns in the same direction you released him in (never sneaks up on you), and I set him off in a direction not too far from the castle if I recall correctly. He looks like he had a successful hunt too." Sarvin picks up the cat and places him back in his respective pocket and starts to wake up any others that are asleep.

"Sounds good. From my experience that way leads to the castle so we should be going there." Wilfire usually walks around the nature so he usually knows the terrain and the common paths that people take.

Vilzriquathtor gets out of her tent in her preferred appearance and asks "<Primordial/Celestial> What is the argument about."

While Wilfire, Vilzriquathtor and Sarvin were discussing what direction they should be heading Anakh was sitting on a log reading his tiny leather book again. No one really knew why Anakh cared for the small object as much as he did. It was just an empty book after all. Suddenly Anakh closed his book and started shouting and cursing to no one in particular. Anakh's already quite limited patience was nearing its end. "Lets just trust the damned cat and set out to that godforsaken town!", Anakh yelled in the direction of the others. Anakh was tired of waiting for the weather to clear up. Or waiting in general really.

"You heard it. Let's go." Wilfire answered to them. Anakh looked impatient, but Wilfire rather liked that lack of education.

[Danny]

Heading off into the fog, you trek for several hours before the fog lets up. Surprisingly, you arrive very close to the castle, and not toward the town like you had expected. The front gates are closed shut, and two guards stand in front of it.

Vilzriquathtor notices the castle in the distance, and asks the group "<Primordial/Celestial> What do you think we should do about these Castle Guards?"

(Out of character: Castle Highmer? Also, no one so far knows she is a changeling, right?)

Anakh was beginning to become slightly agitated by Vilzriquathtor's apparent inability to speak common.

(OoC: Only Sarvin knows she is a changeling mechdragon)

"Well, at this point it is gonna be easier to go to Valmar without getting through the village. What do you think?" Wilfire said, and repeated it to Vilzriquathtor in Primordial.
