Okay then, like usual i like to move around the editor to see what's in there. Going to play the level anyway. Also, i had problems wth the musics for SMBX2. So, i'll taking the musics to FL and change the format.

You should play the level to get a feel of how it plays - too hard, too easy, blind jumps, etc. Don't judge a book by its cover.

I rate this level 9, while everything looks amazing and easy, i can't give the perfect score. My original score is 9.2 for this but there's not really too perfect for one level.
For an episode, i would give this the amazing 10. My review is going to be soon. So stay on the lookout. And remember if one of you easily triggered with opinions, go past my review and i'll set a spoiler folder for people that are triggered with opinions. I'll do the review on maybe 12 or 1PM at my location (you can see in my profile).

This level is for an episode, yes. Thats why the level is named 'Level 1-3'. Thank you for rating my level! I hope to read your review in 3 to 4 hours ;)

Ok, here's my review.
DISCLAIMER: If you're easily triggered with opinions, please go past my post. If you're looking at it and get triggered. Don't say i didn't warn you.

Now, let's start with :
Spoiler: show
THE GAMEPLAY.
The gameplay is nice and easy. Making this feels like real Mario game. Always easy in World 1.
I like also the difficulty of this level. It's easy. It's super fun. It has unusual enemies seen in World 1, but that's okay.
At least it gives the challenge.Still, like a lot of awesome levels, it has a downside. It is short lengthed. The fun seems like it easily ended there. I didn't say "Please Expand This" because i couldn't think what could happened. Still, this is my opinion. Also, enemy placement is great. No spammed enemies, and i think i found a way to lengthen the level if you want. Like adding Sub-worlds would be cool to make more exploration. But it is up to you.

Now,let's go with...
THE VISUALS.
Honestly, i know this isn't the strong opinion on level, but still at least you pick the right texture. It blends nice with SMW enemies but i think custom enemies GFX would be better. But i don't know. I don't think it is cool enough by Blending this with SMB3 Hills Background. Because it looks like a vanilla map but actually it isn't. I don't think it is blend well. Maybe it is just me.

Now, let's go to THE MISCELLANEOUS.
This level is good. I don't think there's a lot of minor mistakes. But i didn't really think this level is great enough. There's a secret that easily seen at first glance. There's annoying Naked Blue Koopa that throws shells and could makes you triggered in that part or even ragequitted. There is a part where if you fall, you're doomed. Such as this picture. Image
If you fall there, it's an instant "I Give Up" hole. It could be fixed by raising it. So, i'm done with Miscellaneous section.

Here's the last one. THE CONCLUSION.
My conclusion is this level is easy and fun, short and good looking level. It is nice to play, it is nice to look at and it is fun to find the secret. The downside is this level is short, annoying enemies and easy to find secret that had no worth to collect. That's all. Thanks for noticing my rambling on a level. Hopefully this will be my SMBX forum series and YouTube series for SMBX Reviews.

Thanks for the review!
I might change the background if I find another one, as you said it doesnt fit well, and I can see why. I'll add more secret sections to the level after I finish 1-4. And its meant to be a bit short, because when you are making an episode with loads of levels its going to take a long while to make a levels like 3-5 minutes long. I'll try my best to do so though. The secret is meant to obvious, because if its too difficult you just can't find it. And yes, I got hit by the blue koopa many times. If you have really fast reaction times, you could get past it, like i did i few times, but maybe thats just me. I'll leave it there for a while and see what everyone else thinks.

Again, thank you for reviewing my level! If you would like to check out the project that this is in - its over here: viewtopic.php?f=90&t=18810

Okay, so I played your level recently and it is short but kinda good. Here are some problems I want to point out.

1. It seems that 30+ enemies are too much for a 3-minute level. You could expand your level and distribute the enemies evenly OR lessen the number of your enemies.
2. I am stuck at the 6 coins part. I don't know how I will get high up there. Only to realize that there is a springboard inside a question mark block. It's a good idea IF that way is a secret but that way is the main way.
3. The springboard is too far from the place where you should put it. It's a nice idea IF that's a secret way since there are people in the community that hates item babysitting especially when the springboard is needed to move forward.

That's all. I hope you fix this.

Score: 6.49/10

I felt that it being a bit too far was good as it makes it harder to navigate due to you having to hold the X button. I will make it so that in my future levels there is no 'item babysitting', I apologize for that. I think 30+ enemies is ok as long as its still relatively easy to play. What are your thoughts?

Unless that 30+ enemies are only goombas lol. And also the volcano lotus made the level a bit harder.

It wasn't too hard for me - can you explain how it was?

BTW, I don't think it is necessary to keep the old download link because no body will want that and it only takes up unnecessary space in your Mediafire.

I didn't say that it's too hard. I said a bit hard especially when it's compared to a different world 1 level. But, oh well.

I do have to say that this is a huge improvement from your previous level.
I mean that level was complete shit, and this one is actually decent. That must be a world record for improvement.

Overall I found this level a fun grassland level, although there's a few small issues.
I'm not sure why you decided to put a delay on the message events, it would be better for no delay.
The kicked shell is bit too difficult to avoid for a world 1 level in my opinion.
The later parts of the level seems to be easier than the earlier parts.
