Exactly why we should have occasional games where only those who have never hosted before can sign up.
If you dislike bad hosts then why risk playing a badly hosted game by voting someone new when you could vote for someone who already proved themselves good in the past and rest assured that they will do well hosting.

For what it's worth I think the new voting system makes people shift more towards considering "what GAMES do I want to play in the first place".

That might help with getting new hosts. I don't think that Witchking would have got as many votes if the old system was still in place. I think TNTTimelord could still have won because he had a faction game. But since this is new, we still don't know if it will make any differences.

I still want to know why it's a big deal.

Okay, to be honest, the way I was just lynched really wasn't fair. I was voted to be lynched just because i revenge-voted someone who voted for me because i was being "annoying". I revenge-voted him because i didn't want
to die just because of something as bullshit as that. Not only that, but i didn't even get a chance to defend myself, which is even more annoying. Why is it that like 4 times now, M31, M32, M3 on Gohan's Forum, and Now this.
I've gotten lynched with very shallow and garbage evidence. Do you realize how unfair it is that i was basically lynched just because some guy voted me for being "annoying" when i was just trying to help them.
I'm not expecting you to change anything, but it's just so unfair that i've been lynched off of bullshit evidence like this 4 times now.

look mate
the rules are that someone has to get lynched, and you were the best lead we had
the phase change time was clearly shown and it's not anyone's fault but your own that you weren't here to check

'best lead we had' his 'lead' was a baseless assumption made by the other guy that died, don't rub his death in megar.

MosaicMario, someone had to be lynched and you were the best lead available based on what very little we had. Take a rest.

Just get it over with. Mafia is a game, ok, you died, big deal. I was nightkilled on the first night. THIS is frustrating. And I am not acting like that, am I? Is ZM acting like this? Is Danny acting like this? Is Spinda acting like this? Is any night 1 target acting like this?

No one can be lynched in the night.

I'm still no fan of the mandatory D1 lynching (= mandatory safety-vote lynching). Yet I think the motive behind the lynch was still communicated enough as a safety vote.
Also days are supposed to last 24 hours but when someone gets a first vote sneaked very late, they should still get a chance to defend themselves and it warrants some phase extension, doesn't it? Timezones are a thing after all.

I know, but is there a difference? It also only applies for instas if the voted person hasn't already defended themselves, and once someone is in danger to get lynched, they should get a chance to defend themselves within a reasonable timeframe (especially if they only have one vote, they can equalize it by themselves).
