Glover 64 was one of those games I played a lot when I was younger surprisingly... such a underrated game!

I'm surprised you know of this game and that you played it aswell. That game was like one of those "different type of jump & run adventure games" that is actually fun to traverse through levels with a ball to utulize and such. I honestly never played the game fully... never got to the last world since the boss at the haunted place zone thingy, the Frankenstein one was a difficult one to beat and such when we were younger.

I like the Japan box art better then the NTSC ones, especially for retro console. Look at ocarina of time for example...
 
This in no way reflects my opinions on the games themselves, but don't they look a bit more attractive?

I find Paper Mario: Sticker Star being way more enjoyable & more playable than freaking Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood!
If Sonic Chronicles was co-created by Square Enix instead of Bioware, then it'll be more playable!

So? Metroid and Zelda both have attractive characters and kids still play those. If you want a really kid friendly game, go play Bayonetta.

I actually don't think the reserve item box fits in SMW, due to the limited amounts of powerups. I think SMB3 could've used that feature better due to the bigger variety of powerups, but if they did do that, I also think they should've kept the SMB1 style damage system from the Japanese version to compensate.

SMW's was item box was probably created to compensate for the fact that, unlike in SMB3, if you get hit with any power up, you return to small form. An item box in SMB3 would be unnecessary, because it already has an inventory.

Oh, I totally forgot that the map inventory existed. Also, if they had to make it to compensate for the SMB1 powerup system, then why didn't they just use the SMB3 system?

Unlike those games, boobs are most of the time omnipresents un shantae. Also, bayonnetta is obviously not a game for kids.

SMW is a sequel. It's better for sequels to introduce something new instead of using the same things from the last game.

Idt the boob thing is that of an issue to kids, knowing that there are games, which are really different from what you see in the shantae games.
