I'd be surprised if SMBX lasts that long, and a lot of the time I'm the only person on here.

Fact is, if the SMBX community dies, it is likely that someone will attempt to revive it

As previous people have said, the new versions of SMBX have brought a ton of life to the community. If SMBX stayed at 1.3.0.1, then MAYBE it'd fizzle out sometime in the future, although then again, new members would probably keep joining regardless. The new versions however have definitely extended SMBX's lifespan.
tl;dr I don't think SMBX is going anywhere for quite a long while.

Well, as you know, game designing is hard so time is necessary to require so we can gain more updates in the future for SMBX. Rushing isn't good either or else too many bugs can happen and it's not fun either to enjoy a fangame for everyone.

Mathematics and science seem to be pretty much the only things that can't die.

There is a risk that Nintendo will take all versions down and the fourms so it would be us just play with the stuff we already downloaded and eventually we will get bored and quit playing smbx.

How many times do we need to say it? Nintendo is aware of this game's existence and are keeping it up because they make money off of it.
