Most cringeworthy moments you've had in SMBX

Try to jump in a Bullet Bill, miss and then fall into an abyss...
Dying at the end of the level, not seeing an enemy behind the card roulette.

Near the end of super-long and super-hard level that has no checkpoints.

Kicking shells, and then they inevitably bounce off something and fly straight back at you. Try to jump? Expect it to bounce off a ramp and hit you in midair.

To be honest, I've fallen foul of that many a time, and I still fall for it even now. Most notably, I remember getting ridiculed for mentioning this as a flaw in a certain CC7 level review, getting comments about my lack of skill at something otherwise fundamental. Anyone remember "castlewars worst smbx player"?

I was wrong.

Another thing: I was playing a level to testing but it was extremely hard and annoying cuz it LAGGED!! And then I dyed everytime cuz I couldn't see what was happening, like I jump on a goomba, suddenly it freeze, but things are happening anyway in the background, so I die like a shit...AND THEN it stop lagging! What mean it ONLY stop lagging when it shows my death! What a cruel life.

Haha same. Mine was a really cramped vanilla cave level. I guess I didn't know SMBX's standards back then, because my level was something you'd see in SMF, which at the time was my main Mario editor. I expected my entry to be at least top 30, but nope, placed 55th, fifth from last.

Valtteri quickly locked it for good reason. Also, I made a topic discussing how many blocks should be in a 10-coin block, which was just plain stupid (But it could still provide an interesting discussion, considering I've seen some people use different coin amounts for multicoin blocks consistently).

Mista Epic was some guy that got banned in the summer of 2015, and "babu" was probably some typo of "baby" considering how close Y and U are on the keyboard.

No no wait, the CRINGIEST moment was the very beginning of my days on this forum:

I was saying something on the "f*** Nintendo" topic, and then intuition disagreed with me, so I just get fucking angry after him with tons of in the message while getting super rude... without knowing this guy was a moderator! Little error of the begginer!

And then zeldamaster falled on me like a rock, so I get super rageious (in real life, not in the forum).

It was one of my begginer's experience.

I don't believe you.

Topic title says it all. Here's some of mine:
- Hitting the wrong button when attempting to jump, and dying in the process
- The entirety of my CC8 level. Replaying through it reminded me just how awful it was, especially compared to my CC5 level!
- Accidentally dropping a mushroom out of my reserve box - into a pit

The first is a simple failed input, the second comes down to improving and learning, the third, again, a failed input. If you cringe at imperfect performance how do you still play the game without your face stuck in that position?
In fact, something I'd more likely cringe at is the post as a whole and how it tries to sell what it describes as cringeworthy.

Seriously though just hearing the word "cringe" pronounced makes me grimace. It's on a level of "literally" being used incorrectly.
