Do you have any screenshots of your level?

I'm using my school laptop so no, because the sites are blocked.

Well when you're able to, post some screenshots here because one of the mods/admins will lock this thread if you don't have any.

This level wasn't good.
The top path was too easy to reach, and you could skip most of the level.
The bottom part had a leap of faith, which is too difficult for the second level.

I wouldn't say it's bad. This is just your average cave level but it does have some issues.
-Replace the ghost blocks with cement blocks instead, it fits more.
-Make the block ceiling higher, it's way too low!

That's all, otherwise acceptable for a second level.

There's no rule saying that World 1 MUST be easy. Heck, you can have a lava land as first level.

I wouldn't say the level is good either, it's rather bland.
While there isn't any rule, the level was designed to be really easy which just make the leap of faith unfair even more unfair.

Imagine if there was an easy 1-1 grassland level, and at the end there was just enemy spam. That wouldn't be fair.

Enemy spam is badly challenging. It deals more damage than a single simple leap of faith, if it really bothers you than you can just go over it while the original poster fixes it.

Enemy spam is more unfair, but a leap of faith is still unfair. Both cases are still bad as the player did not have the required information to beat the level before dying.

I'm just giving my thoughts on the level, and I did not enjoy at all. The level forums is all about criticism anyway.

Well it is SMB2J 1-2, and I know that I still need to fix a few things.

In the original level, there was some extra platforms near the end, so you didn't need to do a blind jump.

Just fix those issues mention and this can be a decent level.
