The main focus of this episode lies on creative gimmicks and custom music.
The level design is quite linear at parts, but not entirely: In many levels, there are alternate pathways, and in some levels, you can find hidden bonus rooms, or other little secrets.
Sometimes, you'll have to solve a small puzzle in order to progress.
There are NO auto-scrolling levels.
Every level has a mid-way point. (except for Endless Enigma and Haunted Hotel, a mid-way point would make no sense here)
The level length differs a little, but you should be able to complete most of the levels in about 1-3 minutes. Some levels (e.g. the 3 ghost house levels) might take you a little longer, if you're playing this for the first time.
World 1: Moonlight Valley – Yeah, you've read right. This game does NOT start with an easy grassland. You're thrown right into a valley where it's always night.
World 2: Funkytropolis – A city filled with biker toads, a casino and ...funk?
World 3: Facepalm Bay – This beach is populated by fishs, bloopers and crabs. And an other very weird person.
World 4: Polar Peak – Polar Peak is the name of a cold city that has been run over by ice bullies.
World 5: Magma Meadows – This area, once happy and grassy, is filled with lava and smoke.
World 6: Gruesome Garden – A giant graveyard owned by a toad and his family, for reasons.
World 7: Nostalgic Neverlands – This computer-themed area is inhabited by virusses and... tourists?

I honestly can't tell if this is a joke or an attempt at a serious episode.
What's so bad about doing that? I found it a fun idea and better than fighting against Bowser over and over again. You can see this episode as a joke, if you want, but if you played it, you'd see that it's not intended to be a joke.

I agree, this episode is great, and yeah, even if bowser is a good antagonist, it start to get irritating to see him aigain and aigain. Its not a joke episode, but a great episode with a lot of jokes; just like asmbxt': not a joke episode, but funny anyway.
Since I didn't upload a trailer or anything like that, I'll just put this video up here, if it's okay. He's playing through the first world (3 stages) of the game. So check this out if you're not sure about whether you want to play this game or not.
I'm also going to live stream the episode on twitch soon. I'll tell you when, but most likely not here in the Episodes folder

Lol, you should make a trailer with some epic music in the background.

Are you seriously just jealous of him putting his avatar in his project banner?
So far I really like this episode's music, you're really getting better at making songs if you actually made this music.

Yeah, I probably should. I've actually planned to make one at the beginning of the month when I released this episode, but for some reason I scrapped the idea.

Glad you like the music, and yeah, I composed the entire soundtrack myself
This episode is absolutely brilliant, and I highly recommend it.
I just wanted to point out one issue that I've found while playing the game, though. In Epic Eruption, in section three, the moving lava layer is not tall enough, and cut-off is revealed when you die and get hit by the falling fireballs. You may want to fix that.

Glad you like it! Also, thanks for the info! I've been a little inactive here, sorry, but I've just uploaded an updated version that should fix this issue.
This is very impressing episode.
It have considered structure, literally every level has its own theme and its own set of tiles, NPCs, gimmicks & puzzles which have been used in many creative ways. I really like this episode. However Finster Fort was pretty annoying.

Glad you like it! I was a bit concerned about people hating Haunted Hotel or maybe Magma Mountain (which IMO is by far the least interesting stage I've created). I tried to make every stage feel unique in its own way although I did use especially the SMW switch blocks more than once. I haven't watched the entire playthough yet, but I've already seen that the invisible vine block in the stage Virulent Virtuality seems to be pretty mean in case you hit it unpurposedly. Anyways, thanks!
