Here is an updated Version of my "Ultimate SMB3 Map-Pack v1.1", that replaces almost every Worldmap-GFX with SMB3-styled ones.
This is, what i am mumbling about ^^:
All the GFX in the Worldmap-Editor got replaced with SMB3-styled ones from the SNES and from the GBA-Versions of the Game. I also edited almost every single GFX, to remove Cutoff and such.
Also there are lots of custom-made GFX added.
This is the final Version of the Pack, since there is everything replaced in the Editor :-)
The Download-Link:
http://www.sendspace.com/file/pkqf4m
Please give Credit to me when you using them, and have Fun ^^

If you are talking about the Scenes from 33 on to the 65th one, i have put them into a Subfolder into the "scene"-Folder.
I am thinking about hacking the .exe of SMBX, so it is fully SMB3-styled. This is not promised though.
If you want to use the bugged scenes, just take them and put them over the original ones. Of Cours you need to safety copy them beforehand, but this is how i do it for every scene i use.

WOW!
One word = SUPER-IPER-MEGA-ULTRA-COOLLLL!
It's very nice to see this final update. Also the smb2 worldmap GFX. Well, I really like the giant volcanos in the World 8, also the ice mountains are pretty, and good. Hmm, why you don't make a sort of MARIO FOREVER WorldMap Pack ? It's an idea, no?

I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! I'm downloading this! I bet it looks extensive to create your own SMB3-styled episode.
About the Sendspace link: Please upload it to Filesmelt. Sendspace links expire after 1 month.

I hope it will helps you and/or even inspires you for a good Worldmap ;-)
About Sendspace: i know that it expires, when there isn't a Download executed within 30 Days, but Filesmelt is so buggy that often (hence why i didn't upload it to that Site this Time), i already think about changing to another File Hoster-Site.

I would highly recommend DropBox, even though you have to register to access it; it has fast uploading times and downloading times, too. That's what I always use, anyway. Also, I wouldn't use MediaFire, if that's what you were considering. That place has extremely slow downloading paces, and knowing you, since you always have humungous graphics packs, the downloading time would really drag on with all of those megabites.
Once again, flawless job on your graphical pack. I have no constructive criticism to give, though.

You keep make these extended stuff for SMBX and it's awesome! They're flawless and super useful! Keep up the good work. I hope you make more in the future. Good luck on the SMB1 Extended GFXs!

Ah yes, i have heard all these "ggod" benefits of MediaFire, i guess ^^. Slow, not registration-free etc. but i didn't think about MediaFire anyways. Thank you for the suggestion of Dropbox, maybe i try to register there then, as i have heard about them some times :-).

Thanks for the motivating words ^^. I try not to disappoint you then.

Just check it out, and you can make yourself a picture of the pack :-P. Thank you.
Also, i forgot to put up the 6th screen, where all the levels, paths and scenes are visible, so here it is:

You are given one try to find that out :-) (hint: the hand trap is a "worldmap-NPC" with the "hidden"-property that triggers graphically, when the player entering a set level tile, where it afterwards forces a set level to start...i guess there is some window missing in the editor...maybe...or two...^^)

Okay, so I replaced my default world map graphics (in another copy of SMBX) but on the "palette" they still show up as the default ones. Help! How will I know where everything is now?

Some (or maybe all) graphics show up the same on the palette because they're hardcoded into the game.

You must put them inside a folder inside "worlds"
