That's more likely that SMBX can't properly deal with non-ascii characters, and the path to your SMBX install includes the character ö.

Thanks for letting me know. When I open the folder, it's displayed as "oe". Also I removed the occurence from the pastebin for obvious privacy reasons. It also seems like I can't rename it so I need to move all of my SMBX elsewhere

Here's a thing I would like to see improved: the Instant Kill Block is not so "instant" as it should. If you play as Toad and have three hearts, you'll still be able to touch it at least once and lose one heart, before finally dying if touching it again. I suppose it might be a mistake or something, but I would like to see it working with Toad as well.
By the way, how do I change the music of a section during an event? I've tried the old method but it only gives me a "Custom" option, not allowing me to choose which custom music I want specifically.

Which block are you referring to? I don't think there's actually a specific "Instant Kill Block". What ID is it?

Yes, there is. It is block-673. A new one included into this version.

Has any more progress been made in getting the 1.4.x developer on board for this? There are some policies of his that I'd like you guys to discuss with him if so, such as it being closed-source.

I think it's a little odd that the loading screen in the hardcoded gfx folder is actually different from 1.3.0.1, yet the actual loading screen is still the one from 1.3.0.1! Is that some kind of bug or what?

Remember the game is still in development, so it may or may not be.

I am glad progress is being made on this. Even though my laptop broke again, I keep watch on the forums.
Also the "Bounce Blocks" are awesome! Good luck on the project!

Boing boing!
These new blocks look really cool! They'll definetly open up a lot of new level design possibilities! One thing though, it would be really cool if there was some sort of animation when something bounched on the block, like the block shrinking or something like that!
Also, what does the F stand for?

I have a question, is SMBX Contest Greatest Hits a 2.0 exclusive, or has it been posted before? Cause I really want to give sone critisism on it, and I don't know if this is the right place to do it!

Huh? What the hell am I seeing? Silver blocks ejecting anything touching it? Randomness all over the place
Edit: What's with the Red Mushroom with a white question mark on it?

I'm not sure it's really an episode to critique because it's just an assortment of contest levels

I...... have no clue what it's purpose is other than a switch.

That was already in 1.3. If I remember well, it's the mushroom that switches the places of the first and second players (it's used a lot in the default battle mode stages).
