Dude, this looks phenomenal. Although I do think the black inside of the sprites should disappear. Particularly on the doors and the fences

What a nice looking background. There are some banding in the inside of the lavafall. It looks good I mean will it animate or it's just a one frame.

Everything looks very banded and utilizes too many colors. There are quite a few colors that are way too similar to each other.

Yea it does, your tileset ia banded like crazy. It doesnt matter what style.you pick, banding is always bad.

Time for edge cases!
Glowing/futuristic designs can get away with more colours and banding.
Your lava looks like you're kiinda trying to go for a glowing effect, though there is room for improvement.
By changing the colours...
and applying some glow...
the lavafall texture can look much brighter and stronger.

First post in a while! Have a crappy WIP tileset that is based on New Super Mario Bros Wii. 
Im trying for a Super Mario World style, but it might not have gone as well as i hoped.

well then you should put some effort into the mansion GFX, by adding more BGOs like bookshelves and that.
