Kids these days don't have what I did when I was growing up. It is nonsense that the pop culture I enjoyed in my youth is still available to enjoy retroactively and that my generation feels nostalgia for their own childhood that kids these days are missing out on while simultaneously feeling they were born in the wrong generation. There is nothing good out there today. Nope, nothing, you're right - don't even bother looking for something - it was made in this decade and not the length of time you conjured up. Everyone is wrong to enjoy what they do today except me. I am a Millennial, and kids these days just don't get it. Hollywood is a cesspool and the media too. Everything changed and I don't like it.
Us "older people" might question why kids these days do what they do, but the generation before us questioned the things we did as kids, and the generation before them questioned the things they did as kids, and so on. Times change, it's a repeating cycle.
If you can give me a reason why these kids are able to make millions from these stupid 10 second videos and are able to go on tours and make music videos, then I'll agree with you about being out of touch.
Aero, I don't think it's apropriate to say "there's nothing good to find out there", even sarcastically.
But I partially agree with you on this one. There is something special to this present epoch that I just don't think isn't alright. There's more and more digitilization and commercialization. There's shit like the so-called "social networks" and other shitty Internet sites that didn't exist 15 years ago. There's more and more painfulness and cringy stuff and in the media. But yeah, this is just the bad side of the medal, and it has more to do with a general change of tides, and the character of this decade's young generation is a mere outcome of it.
As a human, you should be aware to not skid down into a purely functional existence, you should find true passions, you should follow honest values, you should know about what really matters in life, and you should have a proud personality.

Just a meme dude. I don't like music.ly and it seems pretty dumb but I'm not anti-music.ly. I was almost angry that Vine existed and these tweens were also going on tours for 6 second videos but at the end of the day if you want an enemy to go after it's not the platform or where everyone is going. People are going to do what they want and if you want to fight it I think you're wasting your time. Nothing wrong with going after egos tho B^)
oh the cringe.

Even if this thread is a joke or not, I still wanna say that it isn't really the modern-day kids that have problems, it's their surroundings. The children themselves are not wrong, it's things like Musical.ly and reaction videos and Vine memes that are in the wrong. They're like bad parents to these children who are teaching them all this nasty stuff.
