I am making a mario game where you use stars to unlock the next areas. I have a Boom Boom as my Boss NPC, with the "Set as Boss" checked, but it drops a ? Ball instead of a star. Does anyone know how to change this to an exit point star?
Show a layer via an event triggered by the boss's death instead or you could spawn an NPC via LunaLua for an exit when the boss dies, however that's quite a bit more complex

i am sorry, i should have mentioned... im new to SMBX 2 n stuff, so i have no idea how to use events.
Hint for legacy bosses:
It only works on 3 bosses and those are boom boom, birdo and smb3 bowser but once approach the battle of their respective theme starts and once you defeat all of them the goal orb will appear (smb2 birdo with a smb2 pearl orb and the smb3 boom boom a smb3 ? orb will appear). Another thing, if there's more of them in the same level and one of them is defeated while others aren't somewhere in the level the music resets back to the previous theme but you won't get the goal orb. You only get it once you defeat all of them. Smb3 bowser has a special cause though since once you defeat him the game ends and you get to the credits scene ingame (as in if you play it via game start instead of level editor you get to the credits by default).
